A month without seeing her father is a long time for a two-and-a-half-year-old youngster.

That is nearly a quarter of her life. So it’s logical that Adalynn’s mother, Alison Durbin, wanted to plan a special reunion for her daughter and her retired aviator husband, Ron Durbin.
When Ron’s long-awaited aircraft arrived at Raarid City Regional Airport in South Dakota, Alison waved to Adalynn, saying, “I’m here to pick up my father.”

But I’m not sure why I can’t read yet. Everyone at the airport was aware of what was going on, except for the little girl, who was in for the shock of her life.

Adalynn dropped the sign and dashed into Ron’s arms as he exited the plane to embrace his wife and daughter. The sweet and endearing reunion between father and daughter has already received over 3 million views on Facebook. It’s simple to understand why after just a few seconds.
